Dick Ferdinand Swaab is a Dutch doctor and neurobiologist. He is Professor of Neurobiology at the University of Amsterdam and until 2005 he was Director of the Dutch Institute for Brain Research at the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences.
With his scientific work he could almost prove that original transsexuality (NGS) is innate and cannot be acquired through upbringing. Here he places himself in line with Prof. Dr. Milton Diamond.
His book "We Are Our Brains" became a bestseller. In the following I allow myself to include a single very important page from his book, but for a general understanding it is necessary to read through the entire chapter.
